At KiteStudio, accessible from our extensions and web products, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by Chrome extensions developed by KiteStudio and how we use it.

KiteStudio extensions are designed with a strict privacy-first approach:

• Personal Data: We do NOT collect, sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information (such as your real name, email address, IP address, or browsing history) to any third parties.
• User Content & Preferences: Any data you save within our extensions (such as custom prompts, categories, or user settings) is stored locally on your device using Google Chrome's native storage APIs (chrome.storage.local or chrome.storage.sync).
• Data Synchronization: If sync is enabled, data is synchronized securely across your logged-in Google accounts via Chrome's official infrastructure. KiteStudio has no direct access to this personal data.

2. Browser Permissions Requested

To function properly, our extensions may request specific Chrome browser permissions:

• storage: Used solely to save your custom templates, preferences, and local application state on your browser.
• activeTab / Host Permissions: Used only when necessary to interact with current web page interfaces (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to auto-fill or structure text upon your explicit request.

Our extensions do NOT run background tracking scripts, monitor your browsing activities on unrelated websites, or log sensitive user inputs.

3. Third-Party Services and Payments

Depending on the features you choose to use, our extensions may interact with trusted third-party services:

• AI Platforms: When you submit prompt templates to third-party AI services, the text is sent directly from your browser to those respective services. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Payment Processing: Payments for premium or lifetime licenses are processed securely through certified third-party merchant platforms (e.g., Lemon Squeezy). KiteStudio never collects, stores, or handles your credit card numbers or banking information directly.

4. Data Security

We prioritize the security of your data. Because your configuration and saved items reside locally within your Chrome browser, security is maintained by Google Chrome's built-in sandbox and encryption standards.

5. Children's Privacy

Our extensions and tools are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.
